There is a petition asking Netflix to stream the documentaries of Frederick Wiseman. As The New York Times reported earlier this year, Wiseman’s own company, Zipporah Films, has written to the video streaming and rental company Netflix “seven or eight times,” but, according to the filmmaker, “they never responded.”
